We had to make a poster about 1 planet here is mine.
I am a Year 6 ākonga/student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. My kaiko/teacher is Whaea Miki. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful, and helpful when you leave me a comment.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Helpful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Wow Caitlin. You have included a lot of information here. When you said 'a day on Saturn was a mystery until recently' does that mean they have worked out how long a day is? What is Saturn made up of? Would you like to visit any of the planets in the solar system?
ReplyDeleteGood afternoon Caitlin. It was great to see you made it for karakia this morning.Isn't it great seeing some of the other children and staff.I didn't realise you had a little sister.I don't think she was too keen on joining us.
ReplyDeleteI am curious to know more about your facts Caitlin.Does Saturn look like a frisbee, instead of looking like a ball?.And if I was too look into the sky at night, how would I find Saturn?.
Good morning Caitlin. Lots of great information about the planet Saturn and your poster is set out very nicely. I was amazed that it has as many as 62 moons and I did not know it had been visited 4 times by spacecraft.
ReplyDeleteWhich planet do you think is your favourite? Keep up the great work, Claire.
